First Aid At Work Courses
First aid - half day skill update -
This course is for anybody who has a valid certificate in first aid and wants to keep their skill up-to-date. HSE recommend that candidates attend a skills update session annually.
1 day emergency first aid at work (EFAW) -
This course is aimed at people, e.g. nominated first aiders, in a low risk environment or anybody who is interested in first aid. Basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations will taught in a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions. Successful candidates will receive a HSE approved certificate, valid for 3 years.
First aid at work 3-day -
This course covers the practical skills needed by a first aider in a workplace. A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions which are designed to develop ability and most importantly practical confidence to deal with first aid emergencies.
Successful candidates will receive a HSE approved certificate, valid for 3 years
2-day refresher first aid at work -
For qualified workplace first aiders who are within three months of expiry of their First aid at work certificate issued by any HSE approved training organisation, or who are within the subsequent 28 day grace period after expiry. A combination of theoretical knowledge and practical sessions which have been taught on the First aid at work 3-day course.
