Fire marshal - These courses help to identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace. It covers the threat posed by fire to people and property and helps in reducing and preventing fire occurring in the first place along with providing the knowledge of what to do in the event of fire.
Manual handling - Causes more than a third of the work-related injuries reported each year. This course shows employees many examples of how they can avoid or reduce the risk of injury from manual handling and how straightforward many of the solutions are.
Risk assessment -
A risk assessment is an important step in protecting your workers and your business, as well as complying with the law.
It helps you focus on the risks that really matter in your workplace.
We will highlight why risk assessments are key to a safe workplace environment. For employers, managers, supervisors, in-house H&S officers and contractors.
Working at height - Many repair, maintenance and construction jobs make use of ladders, scaffolding or mobile access equipment. Any work at height increases the risk of serious injury, both for those working above the ground and those working or passing below. The main priority is to prevent falls of people and / or materials and to ensure the integrity of the access equipment.
Asbestos - Asbestos is the single greatest cause of work-related deaths in the UK.
This course is designed to bring awareness to anybody who manages and rents properties, employers, managers, supervisors and contractors. The consequences of not being ‘asbestos aware’ can devastate lives.
COSHH - This course will help you understand what you need to do to comply with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, which apply to the way you work with these substances. Just because something is available to buy, does not mean it is safe – you can buy cyanide for industrial use.
This course is aimed at employers who are responsible for taking effective measures to control exposure and protect health, in-house health and safety officers, managers, supervisors and self-employed people.
